What type of pin should I use?

Matte no-snag clips give the cleanest hold for everyday wear — no exposed tip means no risk of snagging the fabric. Safety pins work for every fabric weight and are the go-to for a quick, strong hold. Diamond-head pins add a decorative touch for occasions where you want the pin itself to look finished.

How many pins do I need?

Most hijab styles use 1 or 2 pins: one at the chin or chest to hold the front in place, and one at the side or shoulder for the drape. Some styles need none at all with grippy fabrics, or up to 3 for structured occasion looks.

Do pins damage the fabric?

How do I stop my hijab slipping without a pin?
