What is the difference between Butter Lawn and Turkish Lawn?
Same lightweight, breathable base fabric; Butter Lawn is finished to feel noticeably softer and falls a little heavier, so wraps hold their shape well. Turkish Lawn is crisper and slightly cooler.
Does it slip?
The soft, matte surface holds a drape well. One pin or magnet is enough for most styles.
Is Butter Lawn see-through?
It is a woven lawn, so it is much more opaque than chiffon. Pale shades look best over an underscarf; deeper shades are opaque on their own.
How do I wash it?
Like Turkish lawn: hand wash in cool water or a gentle machine cycle in a mesh bag, lay flat to dry in the shade, medium iron while slightly damp. See the hijab care guide.
